Upcoming Cohort
Kidpreneur Launch Lab is an 8-week live, applied business education experience for young people ages 11–18.
Rather than simply learning about entrepreneurship, students learn by doing. Through guided instruction, real-world challenges, customer discovery, financial thinking, problem-solving tools, venture development, and presentation practice, students move from identifying an opportunity to developing and presenting a tested business concept.
The program follows the KLL Framework™:
Discover → Design → Build → Test → Launch & Reflect
Each week builds on the last as students develop both business acumen and the future-ready skills they will use in entrepreneurship, college, careers, and leadership—including communication, critical thinking, decision-making, creativity, confidence, resilience, and problem solving.
Throughout the program, students build a KLL Venture Portfolio documenting their research, decisions, financial thinking, testing, improvements, and final venture presentation.
Two Developmental Tracks
Students work through the same KLL Framework at a level designed for their developmental stage.
KLL Builder | Ages 11–14
Builder students receive more structure, guided practice, and age-appropriate business tools as they learn how ideas become viable ventures.
KLL Founder | Ages 15–18
Founder students work with greater independence and deeper business concepts, including customer validation, competitive analysis, unit economics, MVP testing, operations, and professional venture communication.
The framework stays consistent. The depth, independence, and level of challenge increase with the learner.
The 8-Week Journey
Week 1: Think Like an Entrepreneur
Discover problems, needs, and opportunities worth exploring.
Students learn how entrepreneurs recognize opportunities instead of simply jumping to business ideas. They examine problems, identify possible root causes, generate opportunities, and use structured decision-making tools to determine what is worth investigating.
Students build: Entrepreneur Profile, Opportunity Map, Problem Explorer, and Opportunity Decision Matrix.
Week 2: Know Your Customer
Replace assumptions with real customer insight.
Students learn who experiences the problem, how to ask useful questions, and how to gather evidence through customer conversations and research.
Builder students conduct guided customer discovery, while Founder students complete deeper customer interviews and begin evaluating competitors and existing alternatives.
Students build: Customer Profile, Interview Notes, and Evidence-Based Problem Statement.
Week 3: Create Something Valuable
Turn customer insight into a solution that creates value.
Students generate multiple solutions, evaluate their options, distinguish features from benefits, and develop a clear value proposition.
Rather than becoming attached to the first idea, students learn how evidence and customer needs should influence business decisions.
Students build: Solution Board and Value Proposition.
Week 4: Make the Business Work
Understand how the venture creates—and captures—value.
Students explore the fundamental economics of a business, including customers, pricing, costs, revenue, and profit.
Builder students develop a simplified business and financial model. Founder students go deeper into unit economics, break-even thinking, financial assumptions, and basic business scenarios.
Students build: Business Model and Financial Snapshot.
Week 5: Build a Brand Customers Understand
Learn how customers will recognize, understand, and choose the business.
Students explore branding, positioning, marketing, sales, customer messaging, and acquisition channels.
They learn that a brand is more than a logo—it is the experience, message, and promise customers associate with a business.
Students build: Brand Concept and Marketing & Sales Plan.
Week 6: Build It. Deliver It. Test It.
Turn the idea into something customers can experience.
Students develop a prototype, MVP, or service model and examine what it takes to actually create and deliver what they are promising.
They explore operations, process thinking, quality, resources, risk, and responsible business practices while preparing to test their venture.
Students build: Prototype/MVP, Operations Map, and Test Plan.
Week 7: Test, Learn & Improve
Use evidence and feedback to strengthen the venture.
Students review what happened during testing, analyze feedback, identify assumptions that were supported or challenged, and make informed improvements.
They also begin developing their final venture presentation and learn how to explain not only what they built, but why they made the decisions they made.
Students build: Test Results, Venture Revision, and Pitch Draft.
Week 8: KLL Venture Showcase
Communicate the venture. Defend decisions. Reflect on the journey.
Students present their venture and respond to questions about their customer, solution, business model, pricing, testing, and next steps.
The Venture Showcase is not simply a presentation exercise. It gives students an opportunity to demonstrate how they have developed as thinkers, communicators, problem solvers, and young business leaders.
Students complete: Final Venture Presentation, KLL Venture Portfolio, Reflection, and Next-Step Plan.

What Students Gain
By the end of the 8-week KLL experience, students will have done far more than complete an entrepreneurship course.
They will have practiced how to:
identify meaningful problems and opportunities;
understand customers and gather evidence;
generate and evaluate ideas;
make decisions using structured tools;
understand how businesses create value;
work with pricing, costs, revenue, and profit;
develop a business model;
communicate a customer value proposition;
build a brand and marketing approach;
create and test a prototype or MVP;
receive feedback and adapt;
explain and defend their decisions;
communicate ideas with greater confidence; and
determine meaningful next steps for their venture.
Each student leaves with a completed KLL Venture Portfolio that provides visible evidence of their thinking, research, decisions, financial understanding, testing, communication, and growth.
The KLL Outcome
KLL is not built around the assumption that every student will become an entrepreneur.
Entrepreneurship is the learning environment.
The broader goal is to help young people become more capable thinkers, communicators, problem solvers, leaders, and decision-makers—whether they eventually build a company, lead an organization, pursue a profession, or create something entirely new.
Students don’t just learn about business. They practice it.
Business is the classroom. Capability is the outcome.
